Peristera (Greek: Περιστέρα for "pigeons") is a small village, part of the municipal unit of Akrata, Achaea, Greece. It is located at the foot of the mountain Chelmos or Aroania, at an altitude of about 1,200 m.
Peristera is linked with the road north to Akrata. The mountains with rocks, grasslands and some forests surround Peristea and is situated in a valley. Farmlands are mainly in valley areas, forests covers parts of the municipality.
